Day # 12

We tried to test the air cannon again. It Failed! We raised it to 30 psi and the chamber just bleew off. This was probably the most exciting thing. For tomorrow, we plan to bind the research paper.

Day # 11

After testing our project, it did not work out. The pvc pipes broke apart, and we had to put the air cannon back together. We used new pieces of pvc to make the air cannon tighter for next class. All in all, we are not going to finish before March 1st.

Day # 10

Today we put the air cannon together. We used sealing tape and pvc cement to make sure the pieces are air sealed and tight. For next class, we plan to test it and try to fix any problems that we see. We also plan to finish our research paper and website.

Day # 9

Today we began our project like we planned. We placed an end cap on our chamber, and we plan to drill a hole for the air valve. To shoot it, you simply fill the chamber with air and turn the valve, which releases the compressed air.

Day # 8

Today we worked on deciding what design to use as a group. After doing the questionare for building the prototyope, our first design took the most votes. Next class, we plan to begin working on the project.

Day # 7

Today, I started to plan the webpage for our group. However, one of our group members left, which slowed down the process. For next class, I plan to have a webpage design ready to just type in the content.

Day # 6

We had come to a decison of our protorype. It will be similar to the vaccum cleaners you hang on your back. The reason why we chose this design was because it looks simple, and it looks cheaper to do.

Day # 5

We drew two sketches of a t-shirt launcher each. My designs all had an igniter, which need something flammable for its source. To my belief, we can not use fire so we might need to use someone elses sketch.

Day # 4

Today we received new packets that clarify our jobs. We didn't start on the possible solutions just yet. The reason is because we have to finish the research paper, and we need to format it correctly. For homework, I plan to research the global market analysis and start sketching.

Day # 3

I didn't start on the website design becasue we had to do the reasearch paper. We split the work, and I haad to do operations and applications of a t-shirt launcher. For next class, we plan to work on possible solutions.

Day # 2

Today we worked on splitting the job. We each took turns to chose a job. This will make our group more organized, and we will be able to finish faster. For the next day, I plan to start the website. I want to make something flashy but not to distractive.

Day # 1

We wathced several videos of people building a potatoe launcher. One of the videos was very interesting. He made it simple and easy. The fire power on this launcher was amazing. He was able to shoot across a river. It was more than 100 feet. The problem is that he used hair spray. I feel like the cannon can explode or it may cause the shirt to catch on fire. All in all, this might be the launcher that i choose for he project.
